Senior Site Reliability Engineer

 

Location: Hybrid 1 day per week (Chattanooga) | Salary: $125,000–$150,000 + Bonus

 

We’re working with a fast-growing international B2B SaaS company that’s transforming how business’ communicate. Their cutting-edge platform powers over 5 billion form of communication annually for more than 70,000+ businesses worldwide.

 

As they scale their operations in the U.S., they’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their high-performing team. This is a remote-first role with occasional off-site meetups, offering the chance to shape infrastructure and reliability for a global tech leader.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

· Ensuring peak system performance through proactive monitoring and tuning

· Designing scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure across cloud and physical environments

· Automating processes to boost operational efficiency

· Troubleshooting application and middleware issues

· Collaborating with engineering teams to optimize high-throughput production environments

· Building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines

 

What You’ll Bring

 

· Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Terraform, App Services, and Kubernetes

· Hands-on expertise in scripting (PowerShell preferred, or Bash, Python, Ruby, C#)

· Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, Azure Application Insights, or Log Analytics

· Proven background in site reliability or operations roles

· Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills

· Passion for reliability, automation, and operational excellence

 

Bonus Points For

 

· Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines

· Knowledge of Microsoft Server OS, DNS, Load Balancers, and Active Directory

· Familiarity with tools like Ansible, ARM, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, ELK, Grafana

· Understanding of cloud security best practices and microservice monitoring
