Senior Data Analyst | Hybrid (3 days a week in Birmingham) | £45,000-£55,000 + £5K Cash/Car Allowance  ??

?  The Company

Our client, a global automotive group with some of the UKs most recognisable brands is seeking a an experienced and commercially minded  Senior Data Analyst  to join their dynamic data analysis team focusing on solving complex logistics, finance and business related problems.

?  The Role

As a  Senior Data Analyst , you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of high-quality data projects. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Proper Data Analysis - not just creating dashboards but getting deep into the data to identify trends that will significantly impact the business from financial perspective
• Leverage an arsenal of analytical tooling to find trends and make recommendations (e.g.  Power BI ,  Python ,  SQL  etc.).
• Support stakeholders  data  to inform decision making
• Deliver analytics around demand planning, inventory optimisation, logistics and supply chain. ??

?  Ideal Candidate

• Degree  in a  quantitative/mathematics/statistics  field ?
• Previous experience in a  commercial data analysis role ?
• Strong  technical skills  in  SQL
• Strong dashboard and data viz skills in  PowerBI and DAX
• Strong statistical analytics experience in  Python  and associated libraries  PANDAS, NumPy, SciPy etc. ?
• Automate when you should with  Power Platform  and other tools
• Experience engaging with  stakeholders  ??
• Ability to interrogate data, find trends, anomalies and leverage this data to make suggestions on business improvements ??
