Q. What is your area of expertise?

A. My background is in technology recruitment, and over the years I’ve worked across a broad range of software engineering, data and AI roles. More recently, a lot of my focus has been on helping startups and growing technology businesses find the engineers they need to build and scale, from full-stack and software engineers through to founding hires working with AI and emerging technologies. I really enjoy working in markets that move quickly because there is always something new to learn, whether that’s a new technology, a different way of building a team or understanding what motivates great engineers to make their next move.

Q. What do you love about your job?

A. For me, it’s the people and the variety. No two conversations are ever quite the same. One minute you can be speaking to a founder about the first technical hire into their business, and the next you’re helping a data engineer work out what they really want from the next stage of their career. I enjoy getting to know what makes people tick and being able to make introductions that can have a genuinely big impact on both a business and someone’s career.
